Manchester United Confirm Casemiro Exit as Midfielder Pays Tribute to Club and Fans
Manchester United have officially announced that Casemiro will leave the club at the end of his contract this summer. The Brazilian midfielder joined Old Trafford from Real Madrid in 2022 for an initial £60m, potentially rising to £70m.

Despite a clause allowing for a one-year extension, United have decided against activating it, confirming Casemiro’s departure in five months.

In a statement released by the club, Casemiro reflected on his time at United:
“I will carry Manchester United with me throughout my entire life. From the first day I walked out at this beautiful stadium, I felt the passion of Old Trafford and the love I now share with our supporters. Shortly after, the midfielder shared another message on social media, showing his appreciation and class:
“Knowing when stages come to an end. Knowing when to say goodbye when you feel that you will be remembered and respected forever. Four months to give my all for this badge and for our goal. Eternal respect and affection for Manchester United and its wonderful fans. Forever Red Devil.”
Teammates Pay Tribute

With Casemiro’s exit confirmed, United are reportedly considering replacements, with Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton, and Elliot Anderson among the names linked to the club.
